Call for all emergencies. When every second counts, dont even think about calling the Fire House. The fastest way to get help is to call 911. The 911 operator will immediately notify the Fire Station or Sheriffs Office, call an ambulance if needed and stay on the phone if you require CPR instruction or have other special needs. While you are talking to the 911 operator, the Rio Verde firefighters, paramedics or Sheriff will be on their way to your home. 911 emergencies include:
Crimes in progress Severe unexplained pain
Chest pain Smoke
Kitchen grease fire Threatening situations, bodily harm
Fall with injury Water main breaks
Gunshots less than ¼ mile from occupied structure

Call to report crimes that occurred several hours ago or suspicious circumstances that are not personally threatening.

Posse Summer Watch Program - 837-2047
The Fountain Hills Posse will check your home once a week at no charge.
Citizen Assist - 471-3504
Call when you need the Fire Station crew to come to your home to provide non-emergency assistance. Citizen Assist operators are trained to determine what kind of help you need and
how to solve problems fast and efficiently. Citizen Assist calls include:
Snake on patio Locked out of house or car
Bat or bird in house Need help getting up off the floor

Call if you need information about CPR classes or other special events or have business with Chief Matt Phillips or one of his crew members. Please remember that when the Fire Station crew is away from the Station, this phone IS NOT ANSWERED. Business inquiries include:
